The Rev. Dr. Claire Bamberg is the CEO and founder of Potentials Coaching and Consulting, LLC. She has both a Masters in Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and a Doctorate in Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. Claire founded and ran Mt Gilead Counseling Center in Bloomington, Indiana for 12 years, and was the Executive Director of the Pastoral Counseling Center of West Hartford, Ct. She is a licensed mental health professional and a certified mediator. She entered coach training with Coaching4Clergy and quickly became the national Director of Coaching for The Center for Progressive Renewal, a position she held for three years before founding her own business.
Dr. Bamberg’s expertise in systems – family and organizational – along with her mental health training, means that she is an invaluable C-Suite and leadership development coach to the corporations for whom she provides both internal and external coaching. Claire has assisted two international organizations to successfully restructure and looks forward to coaching them both to stability in their new compositions. She works with systems embroiled in conflict, systems that wish to revitalize, and/or with congregations exploring consolidating.
Claire currently holds a PCC credential through the International Coaching Federation. She is the creator and trainer for several modules of coach training, including “Coaching with Congregational Leadership in a Time of Pandemic.” She is a Mentor-Coach with Coaching4TodaysLeaders and Coaching4Clergy.
