Jay is the founder of Coach Impact, a LifePlan Coaching practice. He is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and has been coaching for thirteen years. Jay has an extensive history of teaching coaching skills.  He enjoys mentoring coaches in their certification processes as an ICF Certified Mentor.  Jay also serves on the board of directors of the North Texas chapter of the ICF.  He recently retired from 50 years in ministry where he served church education and denominational roles in a number of churches and organizations.  He serves as the National Director of Coaching for CORE7, an organization of retired and retiring ministers.  Jay holds two master’s degrees, one in Biblical studies and one in marriage and family counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His coaching areas of focus are LifePlan, transition, leadership, spiritual development, prayer, and marital/premarital coaching.
