Reflective Coach Supervision
Thinking Partnership and Support for Coaches
A reflective space where coaches can confidentially discuss their cases with a supervisor who will help them reflect on how they are showing up with clients. Here’s what others are saying about Reflective Coach Supervision:
I expected supervision to give me the opportunity to identify small areas of improvement in terms of the structure and content of my coaching sessions. But it was way more than this! I would say that there were two key benefits to me of supervision.
Firstly, it has helped to me shape my identity as a coach. It has focused on who I’m being, how I’m showing up and what my intentions are. It has shed light on the relationship and interactions I have with my clients and helped me to understand where I haven’t been who I want to be as their coach. Following on from that, it has shaped who I do want to be in future, so that I can go into new coaching sessions with a clear understanding of who I am and why I’m there. The second benefit follows on from this and that is confidence. I am my own worst critic, and I can easily pull myself apart with my own self-criticism. Supervision has given me the opportunity to notice and acknowledge what I am doing well, in such a way that I can continue to build on this. Seeing difficulties as growth opportunities has been huge for me in recognizing that there is no failure, only learning. This has given me great confidence in knowing that I can build on the parts I’m proud of and learn in a positive way from those that I’m not. I leave supervision with Cherie with a positivity to be even better. |

For those of you that are curious about how this could impact your coaching, I started meeting with Cherie Silas in November. In just a single session my coaching practice was impacted for the better both in my current environment and in future environments. In two sessions I saw the deep value for coaches. I plan to continue my sessions so that I can continue to show up for my clients in ways that allow both my coaching stance and my values to shine. Karen Bruns, CTC Enterprise Coach, California USA |
