Despite shrinking budgets, changing demographics, and uncertain preparation, today’s leaders are expected to develop others, affect change positively, and exceed organizational and client expectations. To do this effectively, leaders must learn how to coach effectively, efficiently, and strategically.
Coaching4Today’sLeaders was founded by author and Master Certified Coach Val Hastings. Coaching4Today’sLeaders is a global training organization whose sole purpose is to equip leaders and organizations with coaching skills for impact, sustainability, and results. Honed by years of experience, Coaching4Today’sLeaders, along with Coaching4Clergy, Coaching4BusinessLeaders and Coaching4Groups were designed by Val to impact leadership excellence and effectiveness globally.
Graduates of our Professional Coach Training program will improve their leadership capacity and learn how to empower individuals, teams and groups. In addition, many graduates implement internal coaching programs or start private coaching practices.
J. Val Hastings, MCC, is the Founder and President of Coaching4Today’sLeaders, which provides specialized coach training for leaders globally. Val hired his first coach while he was pastoring at a local United Methodist church. His progress was noticeable by all, and he began to wonder, “What if I adopted a coaching approach to leadership? What if every leader globally adopted a coaching approach?” In that moment a vision began to emerge—a global vision of “Every Leader a Coach.” Val currently holds the designation of Master Certified Coach, the highest coaching designation, through the International Coach Federation.

Our Professional Coach Training program equips leaders and professional coaches with the skills to be an effective coach, develop a coaching culture, and use a coaching approach in all aspects of leadership. In addition, this program will look at how to develop a coaching practice either internally in an organization or externally as a coaching professional.
Coaching is about getting results by bringing out the best in individuals, teams, and organizations. Coaching isn’t about fixing or solving problems; rather, coaching is a developmental or discovery-based process that promotes development and sustained results. Similar to athletic coaches, coaches further develop the skill and talent already inherent in the individuals, teams and organizations they coach.
An enormous benefit of coach training for leaders and professional coaches is that as part of the training process, leaders and professional coaches receive their own coaching. That means dedicated one-on-one time to speak openly about challenges, goals, and outcomes. It means having someone else who is committed and able to draw out the best in YOU, so you are showing up at the top of YOUR game. Coaching4Today’sLeaders’ Professional Coach Training is an International Coaching Federation-accredited Level One and Level Two program.
Coaching4Today’sLeaders offers 136 coach-specific training hours which can lead to the ACC and PCC credentials if desired. Our Professional Coach Training Program is offered in two formats: Online Distance Learning and On-Site/In-Person Training Events.
